1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of this website, the DateSweep plugins, and your purchase of DateSweep Pro from [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — e.g. Digtiz S.L.], [registered address], Spain, VAT/CIF [number] (“Digtiz”, “we”). Contact: [support email].
2. The products
DateSweep (free) is distributed via WordPress.org under the GPL-2.0-or-later license. DateSweep Pro is a paid add-on that requires the free plugin and adds features such as scheduling, ACF date-field support, age targeting, IndexNow submission and an extended undo history.
3. Purchases via Freemius
Checkout, payment processing, invoicing and VAT are handled by Freemius, Inc. acting as merchant of record. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Freemius’s terms and privacy policy. We never receive your payment details.
4. License and what you are paying for
- The DateSweep Pro software code is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later, like all WordPress plugins.
- What your purchase provides is a license key that activates Pro features and entitles you, for one year, to software updates and priority support for the number of sites in your plan (1, up to 10, or unlimited).
- You may move activations between sites within your plan’s limit at any time from your account.
- You may not resell, share or publish license keys, or use them to activate sites outside your own or your clients’ projects.
5. Renewal and cancellation
Licenses are annual subscriptions that renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You will receive a reminder email before renewal, and you can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Freemius account or by emailing us — your license then simply runs until the end of the paid year. After expiry the plugin keeps working, but updates and support stop.
6. Refunds
We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee: if within 14 days of purchase the product is missing an advertised feature, doesn’t work as expected, or has a problem we can’t resolve for you, we will refund you in full. Requests go through your Freemius account or [support email]. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as an EU consumer.
7. Support
Pro includes priority email support for installing, configuring and using DateSweep on supported environments (WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+). Support does not include general site maintenance, custom development, or recovering issues caused by third-party software.
8. Important disclaimer — what DateSweep does
DateSweep modifies the published and modified dates of your content, by your instruction. You are responsible for how you use it: preview runs before applying them, keep regular backups (as you should for any bulk operation), and use features like age targeting responsibly. We make no promises about search-engine rankings or SEO outcomes; search engines set their own rules.
9. Warranty and liability
Except as expressly stated here and to the extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is” per the GPL, without additional warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of DateSweep is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish or EU law (including for intent, gross negligence, or consumers’ statutory guarantees).
10. Trademarks and content
“DateSweep”, the broom logo and this website’s content are owned by Digtiz. The GPL license on the code does not grant rights to the DateSweep name or logo.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its date above. Changes that materially affect an active subscription will be communicated by email before they apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
